I chose Yuanzheng Qizhen Hotel Hangzhou for my stay in Hangzhou this time, hoping to immerse myself in the campus atmosphere of Zhejiang University's Zijin Port. After staying for three days, I realized that it was not just a uniquely located campus hotel, but the comfort and attention to detail throughout the entire accommodation experience exceeded my expectations.
When checking in, the room card holder handed over by the front desk was printed with the emblem of Zhejiang University and came with a hand drawn map of the Zijingang campus. The best walking routes near the hotel and Qizhen Lake were circled in red. The garden view room I booked is located in the high area. As soon as I opened the door, I was immediately caught by the relaxed feeling that came knocking on my face. There was no cold design typical of chain hotels, but warm wooden furniture paired with plain cotton and linen soft furnishings. The bookshelves were filled with collections of Zhejiang University alumni and school history albums. The small tea table by the window was paired with a set of celadon tea sets. As soon as I put down my luggage, room service brought me a cup of warm Hangbai Chrysanthemum tea, and the exhaustion of the journey was relieved in no time.
The details of the room are particularly solid, with a space of over 50 square meters without any sense of cramped feeling. The 28 inch suitcase is spread out at the foot of the bed, leaving plenty of room for activities. The bedding is fluffy and soft, and the softness and hardness of the pillows just fit the neck. I slept soundly for two consecutive nights, without the insomnia commonly seen in unfamiliar hotels. I had pre installed charging cables with different interfaces at the bedside, so I forgot to bring a charger that day and didn't panic. Simply plug it in to recharge my phone. The bathroom has undergone a complete separation of dry and wet areas, with hot water flowing out quickly and steadily. The constant temperature water flow does not fluctuate between cold and hot, and the cleaning is spotless. There are no water stains left on the countertop, and the towels are fluffy and dry, without any damp or stuffy odors.
The most surprising thing is the sound insulation effect. Although it is adjacent to the campus tree lined avenue, after closing the window, there is almost no noise from the outside world, only the gentle sound of wind blowing leaves wafting in from the window. In the morning, I was awakened by the chirping of birds outside the window. Opening the curtains, I could see the camphor forest downstairs. Students holding books walked slowly towards the teaching building, and the sunlight shone through the leaves on the road, filling the long lost campus atmosphere. I deliberately woke up early and walked around Qizhen Lake. The morning reading students and running teachers brushed past each other, and the wind carried the fragrance of lotus flowers and plants, completely devoid of the hustle and bustle of hotels in the city.
Breakfast in the hotel is particularly rich. You can eat the special Dingsheng Cake and freshly ground soybean milk in the Zhejiang University Canteen. Most of you are surrounded by alumni returning to school and scholars attending the conference. The atmosphere is particularly comfortable with the soft voice of discussion. During the three days I stayed here, I didn't encounter any unpleasant incidents. The whole experience was relaxed and down-to-earth. For those who want to slow down and experience the campus atmosphere, Yuanzheng Qizhen Hotel Hangzhou is definitely an unmissable choice when coming to Hangzhou. Next time, I will definitely choose this place without hesitation.Show more
